Dilemma of Old Fan Fiction

I need some advice regarding my old Avatar: The Last Airbender fanfics. I wrote my crossover “The Last Miérables” and began my series rewrite “Finding What You Weren’t Looking For” four years ago, in 2011. Part of me really wants to go back and re-post those stories, because they’re so poorly constructed compared to what I can do now, I kind of cringe when looking back at them. I had only seen the stage musical version of Les Misérables when I wrote my ATLA crossover, but now I’ve read the novel and seen the anime and four different film versions, so I know there is a lot I could add to make it more exciting and interesting and flesh out the characters more. But it would take a lot of writing, just forcing myself to put out words, and I don’t have a lot of time on my hands to do that. I actually have some scenes written out that I’ve thought about adding to the early chapters of FWYWLF. But, I’ve had reviews for FWYWLF from readers who enjoyed seeing how my writing style evolved throughout the course of that story, which makes me wonder if I should leave it as it is.

I know how I feel about these stories, but don’t know how I feel about changing them. So I’m turning to my readers. If you have read either of these works, or could take the time to read or skim them, I would greatly appreciate your input on this matter. What would be more pleasing to you readers? You can let me know either by reviewing the stories on FanFiction.net or reblogging commenting here or sending me messages.

Depending on how much time I have, I could give you a hand... I'm not making any promises though. I haven't seen Les Miserables yet, but I love the idea of French Revolution Avatar.
